Nordstrom Local Comes to the Hamptons
This summer, department store Nordstrom is opening another of its neighborhood service hubs, this time in the Hamptons.
Nordstrom Local Pop-Up in Southampton, NY, will open on May 27th through September 7. The 850-square-foot location will offer online order pickup, alterations, returns, and more for customers who live, work and travel in the Hamptons.
Nordstrom opened its first Nordstrom Local in Los Angeles in 2017 and currently operates seven Nordstrom Local locations in California and New York in addition to this pop-up, including locations in New York City’s Upper East Side and West Village.
The New York metro area is one of Nordstrom's largest markets with 7 full-line stores, 15 Rack stores and two Locals in addition to this pop-up. Since entering the New York market, Nordstrom has heard from many of its customers that they are spending their summers in the Hamptons.

"This summer at our Nordstrom Local pop-up in the Hamptons, we'll continue to make it easy for our customers and expand how and where we serve them."
Customers can digitally shop across all Nordstrom stores in their area and pick up their purchases at the store of their choosing the next day. This model gives customers nine times greater product selection combined with the convenience, service and speed they expect, the retailer said.

- Nordstrom Local Hamptons will offer:
- Order Pickup: Place a Nordstrom.com or NordstromRack.com order and select Nordstrom Local Hamptons for order pickup in the Hamptons. The retailer also offers next-day pickup for select items on Nordstrom.com.
- Returns: Make returns from Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack.
- Alterations: Get expert alterations on Nordstrom purchases and pieces from customer’s own closet. A Nordstrom fitter will be at the Local pop-up each week for hems, sleeve shortening, sizing adjustments, simple repairs and more.
- Gift Wrapping: In addition to complimentary signature black and white boxes, Nordstrom Local offers complimentary gift-wrapping for all Nordstrom purchases. Gift-wrapped items can also be picked up in-store or via Curbside Pickup. Gift wrap is 100% recyclable. Non-Nordstrom purchases can be wrapped for $8 per package.
- Clothing Donation: The location will accept used clothing and shoes. All donations will be directed to Housing Works where items will be sold to support local programs.
- BEAUTYCYCLE: The location will take empties to help Nordstrom meet its goal of taking back 100 tons of beauty packaging to be recycled by 2025 with Nordstrom BEAUTYCYCLE.
