Walmart Scales Unlimited Grocery Delivery

Walmart has gone live with Delivery Unlimited at more than 1,400 locations. The program gives customers the option to pay a yearly $98 fee or a monthly $12.95 fee to receive unlimited Walmart Grocery Delivery orders right to their front door.

“Grocery Delivery takes convenience to a new level, and our customers love it,” Janey Whiteside, Walmart’s chief customer officer said when the program launched on a smaller scale in September. “With Delivery Unlimited, we’re providing incredible value for our customers and leveraging our unique assets to save them both time and money,”

To help entice customer to try the new service Walmart is offering it for free for 15 days. Shopper will also continue to have the option to pay a per-delivery fee, without a subscription. 

How Walmart grocery delivery works: 

• Order and Choose a Delivery Time: Customers visit the site online or through the Walmart Grocery mobile app, enter their address and start adding items to their cart. During checkout, they select a one-hour window for their order to be delivered.
• Personal Grocery Shoppers Fill the Basket: Highly trained personal shoppers carefully select the produce, meats and other items each customer requested. All grocery orders are backed by a freshness guarantee.
• Delivery: Customers can track their delivery all the way to the door.
