Add U-Haul to the contactless bandwagon.

The DIY moving company has added Scan & Go technology to all U.S. and Canada stores, enabling customers to use their mobile devices to scan and purchase products for contact-free transactions during this age of social distancing.

To use, consumers can download an app or visit Uhaul.com/scan. The company continues to offer traditional in-store checkout and online ordering and delivery.

"We continue to transform our business to keep up with the latest customer trends and demands," said Sam Cocchi, U-Haul retail sales program manager. "With U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 already offering customers access to U-Haul trucks at every hour through their smartphones, the opportunity for U-Haul Scan & Go to advance retail sales was an obvious next step. This is just another convenience we're able to provide."

U-Haul operates 22,000 locations across all 50 states and 10 Canadian provinces.
