In time for holiday shopping, the expansion will bring the number of Disney store at Target to over 160.

Target will triple the number of Disney Store at Target locations across the country by the end of the year and continues to grow its dedicated online Disney experience.

In time for holiday shopping, the expansion will bring the number of Disney shop-in-shops inside Targets to over 160. The news comes as Macy’s just annouced it has partnered with WHP Global to bring Toys"R"Us to more than 400 Macy’s stores nationwide in 2022.

The big-box retailer first launched the shop-in-shop experience in 25 Target locations along with a complementary online experience in 2019. Disney store at Target offers an engaging shopping experience for the entire family, with music, interactive displays, photo opportunities and a seating area where families can relax and watch Disney movie clips and play games. Disney store at Target locations are a Target-operated, branded "shop-in-shop" layout with an average of 750 square feet, strategically located inside Target stores adjacent to kids clothing and toys.

“Target continues to be a top toy destination for all families, and we’re pleased to offer unique experiences and a curated toy assortment that brings joy to parents and children of all ages,” said Nik Nayar, SVP of Hardlines, Target. “We’re seeing more guests shop for toys at Target than ever before, and whether it’s Bullseye’s Top Toys or finding joy with one of the 1,300-plus exclusive toys and games, guests are choosing Target for our inspiring, easy and affordable gift-giving experience.”

Target also announced the return of Bullseye’s Top Toys list this holiday season. Gift givers will find top brands like LEGO and LOL Surprise! alongside a range of new additions. This includes Target’s exclusive 70-piece toy collection with FAO Schwarz, of which 85% of items are new this year, popular characters like PAW Patrol and Barbie, and the Zoe Doll by Black-owned business Healthy Roots (which inspires girls to love their curls through hair play). Bullseye’s 50 Top Toys of 2021 start at $19.99.
