Silver Jeans Launches Valentine's Rom-Com YouTube Series

2/6/2017
Silver Jeans Co., the Canadian-based denim brand, launched its first web series "Love Below the Waist." The nine-part romantic comedy will premiere in early February, with a new episode rolling out daily on the company's official website and YouTube page until the big finale on Valentine's Day.

"Love Below the Waist" is a quirky story that follows two pairs of jeans on their journey of love. Sassy, cheeky and sometimes straight-up ridiculous, the series captures the awkwardness of dating in today's world from a unique, "below-the-waist" point of view.

The series, produced by Hungry Man Productions, was created by Todd Grant and John Knecht at CHUM Seattle, in collaboration with Atelier Productions. The videos were directed by Milana Vayntrub, known for her role as Sloane Sandburg on ABC's "This is Us." The episodes were written by John Knecht, Milana Vayntrub and Todd Grant. Director of photography was Christophe Lazenberg, editing and finishing was provided by Andy Seaver, and the series was executive produced by Jay Howard, Dan Duffy and Jacki Sextro.

"Love Below the Waist" is part of Silver Jeans Co.'s efforts to expand its digital marketing. The series will not only give customers a new way to interact and engage with the brand, but gives Silver Jeans Co. a new platform to tell its story and bring the brand voice to life.
