Rite Aid Names New Leader of Retail Operations

Andre Persaud has been named executive VP at Rite Aid, where he’ll be tasked with leading retail operations for more than 2,400 locations across 18 states.

His responsibilities will include inventory and supply chain management, field team management, store operations, asset protection, and facility maintenance and repairs.

Persaud most recently served as an executive consultant to Wakefern Food Corporation, the largest U.S. retailer-owned cooperative with member companies that own and operate supermarkets. He’s also held positions Shopko Stores Operating Company, Burlington Stores and Loblaw Companies Limited.
