Foot Locker is making several changes to its executive leadership team in an effort to separate its commercial activities from its supply chain and IT functions. As part of these shifts, the company has hired Elliott Rodgers as executive vice president and chief operations officer.

Rodgers, who was an RIS CIO of the Year winner in 2021, is a supply chain veteran who comes to Foot Locker after eight years with Ulta Beauty, Inc. There he took on roles such as chief supply chain officer, chief information officer, and senior vice president of supply chain. He brings more than 20 years of experience in operations planning, supply chain, logistics, IT, and enterprise data and analytics.

Effective December 1, Rodgers will be overseeing Foot Locker’s supply chain, IT, and procurement.

"Separating our commercial activities from our supply chain and IT functions will better position Foot Locker to support growth and enhance operating efficiency as we invest in unleashing the power of our leading retail banners by simplifying our operations and expanding our omnichannel, loyalty, and digital capabilities," said Mary N. Dillon, Foot Locker's president and chief executive officer in a statement.

Dillon stated that Elliot’s track record of execution in supply chain, logistics, IT, and e-commerce fulfillment makes him an “ideal addition” to the team.

As part of these changes, the company has announced several other executive moves.

Frank Braken has been promoted to EVP and chief commercial officer, and will continue leading the company’s global retail banners, merchandising, marketing, digital, loyalty, and e-commerce. He has spent more than 12 years at Foot Locker, helping to develop the brand’s expansion strategy for its core banners such as Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs, WSS, and amos.

"Frank has done an outstanding job overseeing growth initiatives across Foot Locker's banners, operating divisions, and geographies, and I am pleased he will continue leading these efforts,” added Dillon. “I am thrilled to partner with both Frank and Elliott — and the rest of our executive team — as we continue advancing Foot Locker's strategic priorities and creating value for our shareholders, customers, and other stakeholders."

Foot Locker is initiating a search for a new chief financial officer following Andrew Page’s decision to transition out of the role and seek out new opportunities. Additionally, Rosalind Reeves has been promoted to EVP and chief human resources officer, and Robert Higginbotham has been promoted to VP, investor relations and financial planning and analysis.

Elizabeth Norberg will step down as chief human resources officer effective December 1, 2022.

“I am pleased to be able to recognize Rosalind's and Rob's efforts with their promotions, and I look forward to working more closely with them as they take on expanded responsibilities in their respective new roles," said Dillon.
