Chico's FAS, Inc. is transforming its tech stack through a new partnership that will allow the company to accelerate growth and improve speed-to-market.

The company is working with fabric, Inc. to leverage omnichannel order management and inventory systems that will power all forms of commerce across the company, including ship-to-store, same-day-delivery, social commerce, and the company's Virtual Stylist program.

Additionally, Chico’s will use fabric's inventory management platform to improve transparency across its three brands.

Jay Topper, chief digital officer of Chico's FAS, said the company aligned with Fabric due to its “business-first thinking and modular architecture.”

“Superior order management capabilities are at the center of today's and tomorrow's commerce solutions,” added Topper. “There just aren't many platforms out there that understand this and could check all our boxes, but fabric did."

Faisal Masud, CEO of fabric, said its headless, composable, and API-driven capabilities will allow Chico’s to stay ahead of the curve in today’s rapidly changing omnichannel retail environment.

"We could not have picked a more perfect anchor client for what we also consider to be the heartbeat of the commerce ecosystem," added Masud.
