\r\nHarve is taking up the role after BJ's last CIO, Scott Kessler, moved to Northeast Grocery earlier this year. Harve will report directly to CEO Bob Eddy and will also assume a key role as a member of BJ's executive leadership team.
Prior to joining BJ's, Harve held the position of global CIO at German healthcare company, Fresenius Medical Care. In this role, Harve was responsible for overseeing information technology, privacy assurance, cybersecurity, digital initiatives, and data security across important business units.

\r\nThroughout her career, Harve also occupied several CIO and technology leadership positions at companies such as Hill-Rom, Novartis, and Shire, in addition to serving in other senior management roles.

“I’m pleased to have a leader of Anjana’s experience joining BJ’s,” said Bob Eddy. “She brings more than 25 years of experience driving innovative technology transformations and leading and inspiring high-performing teams. She will play a crucial role in further strengthening our technology to advance our long-term strategic growth priorities and deliver greater value for our members.”
\r\n\r\nHarve joins BJ’s at a busy time for tech innovation. Just recently, the retailer announced plans to roll out an AI-powered inventory robot designed to increase visibility into chainwide operations and club conditions and ultimately elevate the membership experience.
